Interesting game. I included it in my compilation video series of the Ludum dare 42 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)

Hi! I don't quite understand what to do, plus there's a bug (?) if you click space multiple times. I tried to write words, but they didn't work.
Sorry I had no time til now :D
I better had uploaded a zip file, sorry for that.
For the game to start you have to download every file and put it in the same folder, then start the *.jar
If the background is a sort of Color Gradient like in bg.png then everything should work. If it is a static grey the jar cannot find the files.
Sorry for uploading every file individually.

I have created a new easy way to download. It should be up now on my project page (https://arenjames.itch.io/perfect-pitch-training)
Just download and unzip all files in the same folder.
The *.jar file is an executable file of Java. So if you have Java installed it should go.
If the unzip program you're using recognizes this as a compressed package then you can open it with a Right click -> "Open with" and select the Java one.
If it cannot be executed or you cannot find the entry in the "Open with" Menu, although you have installed Java, you may try to run "java -jar ItchIOMusicJam.jar" from the command prompt at the folder with the jar file in it. Or you may create a batch file in the same Folder as the files with the content "java -jar ItchIOMusicJam.jar" and then double click that batch file.
For me the first easiest part works fine, I don't know why you can't start yours, but I would appreciate it if you give it one more try :)

Hey thanks for at least trying to play my "game".
I didn't had much time, so this game is yeah pretty ugly.
I apparantly have not fixed all bugs, so the game does not seem to work if you start with typing in a number or maximizing/resizing the window.
If you want to give it another try, I will explain you a little bit what is going on there, but I don't know if the game is really worth playing it and putting in so much effort like you did already :D
If you want to try it, you have to start typing some letters. You should hear one note for every letter you type in. If that does not work, the game seems to be broken.
If you type in a word from the above list, the notes will make a chord.
Then you have to guess the chord and type in the (hopefully) correct number for the chord you have guessed.
That's it :D
I'd like to check the game out, but do I need to download all the individual wav files along with the jar, or...?
Yes you had to, now I have updated it on the Project page so you only have to download one single zip file (https://arenjames.itch.io/perfect-pitch-training)
