fun concept! I wish I could aim where I was shooting instead of having to be at the same level as the enemies, especially since they could aim in any direction towards me and the topography of the levels got in the way. The jetpack was super fun but I wish it had some consequence to it, so using it was used tactically. congrats on ur game I had fun playing it!
The experience is alright, but it could probably use some more playtesting. Personally, I found a pretty bad moire effect with the mountains in the distance, re-texturing them might be something to consider. It was also annoying to not be able to tell how many bullets it takes to kill an enemy, especially when the first enemy in the game is way stronger than the others. It is possible to just jump over them, but then your screen will shake for the rest of the first level.
Also, saying that jetpack is "Up" was confusing, since I tried to use W but it didn't fire, so I thought it was a bug; turns out you meant that "up arrow" was for jetpack, so you need to have your left hand on WASD to move, your middle hand on the up arrow for jetpack, and your right hand on the mouse to shoot.
My computer has a hard time running the game smoothly, which makes movement a bit janky and thus makes the stuff like the platformer sections a lot more challenging to do then what was likely intended. That said: I love that someone made something based on the 'Moon's Haunted' meme, and I'm impressed at how much your team managed to get done in 2 weeks!
Hey i'm a developer on the game i'd just like to mention some known bugs , 1 there is not end Card, Two points to travel between scenes , 3. some enemies get stuck , 4 the jet pack doesn't properly indicate the amount of fuel , 5 general tweaks to hp , damage and speed values for enemies. There are probably more so if you find them let us know :D. We had a lot of fun working on this and it was an all around fun experience
