Nice to see an RPGMAker game. It reminds me of the good old days. It was a fun but short experience.

first off, im surprised there aren't more RM games on here given how easy that engine is to use. The game has a nice homely atmosphere, and the mechanics are simple. The game does feel like the intro sequence to an actual JRPG, and if that was what you were going for, then yeah you succeeded. If you're willing to develop this further, I recommend learning how to make custom assets, since the default MV tilesets are very recognizable to anyone who has ever used the engine.  If you haven't already, I recommend watching Echo607's tips and tricks videos since they are really useful for making your game feel unique. Overall though, this is a good start!

Yay! I'm so glad that you like the atmosphere and intro of it!

I definitely want to do more on it, I originally wanted to make custom sprites and everything, but I ran out of time, so I dropped that idea. I still think the game would feel more complete with it's own assets though. Also yes I will check out Echo607! I've seen it pop up in my recommendations and I have it saved, but haven't gotten around to watching it.

Thank you for playing!
