Cosy Cryptid Studios is a team consisting of five passionate college students who have been developing games for jams since 2023. Our team members are Julian Hasson, Xander Rowley, Eren Vine, Ghost Dowsett and Cloudy Birbeck.
la coccinelle du passé is a game centred around the effect industrialism causes on the natural world, this ties into the theme “cause and effect” in a visual narrative form. Help our little ladybug (whom our artists have fondly dubbed “Beetleby”) navigate a changing world, surviving and overcoming fear.

Game controls:
WAD to move [No backward movement]
Space to start.
The pentagram is the level end so stand on it, not around it
There is controller support for movement, the left joystick to move around. No support for menu's unfortunately
All assets and sounds have been created by our team. No 3rd party assets have been used.

The art style is so pretty, I wish there was a little more to the game and there aren't much instructions but other than that it's very cute and I love the art.
Easily the best game on this jam. The assets are beautifully crafted and the music is gorgeous! Love the ladybirds animations!
Nice game! Really pretty and lovely music. The hitboxes can be a little annoying, but you get used to it after a while. The concept is really nice and I'm motivated to see if I can get to the finish!
