  • Thanks for joining our jam! The concept is definitely there, very Mario puzzle-esque. I did have some technical issues with the audio bugging out at times, or the game freezing, or the frames would be kind of janky. The level design is a bit wonky at times, I initially didn't realize where the key was on the second level since it was in a wall, and not being able to see my character in there also made it somewhat difficult to not fall off. The shadow alignment, along with the art style kind of made it difficult to have a proper sense of distance, so I kept missing the jumps because I could not tell where in the air exactly where my character was and where the platform was. I also was stuck on the 3rd level, because I was able to get the key, but could not figure out how to get the gate. Visually, the game isn't particularly appealing. The models were a bit too bland, with not enough going on in the levels. The camera controls were also a bit disorienting, and also not exactly centered on the player. It was overall a simple platformer game. I think there is a number of gameplay issues here that need to be addressed, but the overall formula is tried and true. However, that also means it doesn't have anything particularly unique about it that sets it apart from the rest. As a base prototype though, it definitely gets the job done.

Absolutely loved the game! Thought I missed the fullscreen working on the web version, making things kinda hard to see. The mechanics and levels were so creative and fun to play! I want to play more!

Had a lot of fun with this game. I like the dude you play as, he's got a funky walk cycle. The last level with the slippery blocks was very challenging.
