  • Thanks for joining our jam! The controls were not initially intuitive, having some sort of tutorial explaining the controls would have been nice. The random timing between unit creation made gameplay slow at times, or lead to failure. The levels were also sometimes uneven with different distances to other bases, along with the RNG made it somewhat frustrating. The game does align with the theme, and is overall executed well. The game does run smoothly, although the UI clashes with the style of the game. The bases also don't particularly match the rest of the environment, as there is a discrepancy between the styles used, and the sizing differences between characters, the bases, and the trees. The music became repetitive very quickly, and not having sound feedback when clicking on the UI, making connections, or when units collided or hit bases made the UI experience feel very disconnected. The gameplay loop felt like a bit of a struggle, and it did not particularly have that "fun factor" that I personally would want to continue playing. The gameplay wasn't particularly engaging, it was just picking different bases to send units to and struggling against the AI.

Really cool!
The music gets a bit repetitive but the low poly style is something that I like!
I'd say that the randomness/behaviour of the "AI" makes it surprisingly easy or hard, depending on the beginning of the game!
I got level 4 first try, then got smashed lvl 5 until the one attempt where I dominated the base next to mine super quickly and that was game basically!

But really cool concept, could really see this as a quick android game.
