In Mermaid Defender, you must protect the new Warsaw Mermaid statue from menacing creatures invading from another universe. Harness the power of advanced AR technology with the 8th Wall Studio and VPS system to bring the battle to life in your surroundings. As waves of monstrous enemies approach, you must act swiftly to defeat them. The game features four intense levels. Angry Worm (Level 1): These ground-dwelling creatures are slow but relentless. Flying Spider (Level 2): These airborne threats are faster and more agile. Mammoth (Level 3): These beasts have immense strength and are more difficult to defeat. Mixed Enemies (Level 4): Face the ultimate challenge as all previous enemies join forces. Upon successfully defending the statue through all levels, you unlock the rich lore of the Warsaw Mermaid. Immerse yourself in the story of this legendary guardian, exploring her origins and her significance to the city of Warsaw.

What was the inspiration for your project?
The primary inspiration for "Mermaid Defender" comes from my deep appreciation for the tower defense genre. Tower defense games have a unique way of blending strategy and quick thinking, which I wanted to bring into the immersive world of augmented reality. Additionally, I was inspired by the rich cultural heritage and mythos surrounding the Warsaw Mermaid statue. By integrating the story of the Warsaw Mermaid, I aimed to create a game that not only offers engaging gameplay but also enriches players to learn about this story.
