Let's celebrate the summer with 2 weeks of creativity powered by MANU Video Game Maker - with our Summer Jam!

As summer is a time to feel free from all the pressure, we suggest a topic which is also very wide: SUMMER VIBES! It might be a story about a nostalgic school vacation, space adventure to the places which are always sunny, or even a horror game about sunburns where you need your SPF to fight - you decide!

As you might be new with MANU, we suggest you have a look at our tutorials to learn how to create games with our engine.

This is a step-by-step walkthrough that will allow you to understand the main principles of MANU, and create the games of your dreams in just a couple of hours!

How to upload an asset or a game to MANU Marketplace

Here are some rules:

• This is MANU Video Game Maker exclusive jam - so, only submissions made with MANU are allowed
• All the submissions must be uploaded to both Itch.io and MANU marketplace. If a game is not published on itch.io and manu.org (see video above for instructions), participation in the jam will be considered invalid.
• No new content may be uploaded after the submission deadline
• Any text must be in English
• Submissions may be removed at the sole discretion of the organizers
• Assets, ideas, prefab reuse is encouraged, yet to an extent: Feel free to utilize assets from the MANU marketplace or any other assets for which you hold legal rights. Just ensure to credit them appropriately.
• We will not tolerate racism, sexism, or any other form of discrimination when it comes to participation in the jam or submissions made. 
• The games must not include offensive, discriminatory, or NSFW content of any kind
• Abide by itch.io's Terms of Service
• Please make sure not to use someone else's project

What a jam without a prize? We think the winner will definitely find a use for a 100€ Steam gift card! 

The submissions will be voted by MANU team judges!

Games will be rated on these criteria:

Consistency: How greatly is the plot connected to the gameplay; how does the visual style correspond to what's going on in the game

Uniqueness: Is it an original idea (which is great!), or is it a fan-made spin-off of an existing game (which is ok - but a bit less fun)? 

Presentation: The amount of love and care you grant to your creation in your submission page, your screenshots and materials about the game.

Theme: Since the topic is VERRRRRRY generic, all we ask is just to stick to sunny vibes of summer!
