So cute!!!! This game felt really familiar, the room crawling and all that but I couldn't figure out of what game of my childhood it reminded me off. If I was a kid I'd play this non stop hands down! Also, you nailed Adherence to restrictions! Movement is pixel perfect, that grid movement was such a nice polishing touch and I really couldn't tell it was there until I tested it! Defenatelly made me smile! And great pixel art as well, I especially loved the vertical jump animation! :D

I Found An Old PhoneThank you for your comment. I joined this jam with my father who played a lot of retro games when he was young. Maybe thats why the game resembles your childhood game. I worked extra hard and coded the game in my custom engine to achieve pixel perfect motion and collision as well as low overhead. Im pretty happy that you appreciate it.
