This is really fun to play, and I love the cute running animations

Well, to fit all the game's data (game engine - coded by derinozon - and the graphics) in to 1 mb was a challenge for us. So we used the minimum pixels as we could. Thx for ur comment.

So cute!!!! This game felt really familiar, the room crawling and all that but I couldn't figure out of what game of my childhood it reminded me off. If I was a kid I'd play this non stop hands down! Also, you nailed Adherence to restrictions! Movement is pixel perfect, that grid movement was such a nice polishing touch and I really couldn't tell it was there until I tested it! Defenatelly made me smile! And great pixel art as well, I especially loved the vertical jump animation! :D

Thank you for your comment. I joined this jam with my father who played a lot of retro games when he was young. Maybe thats why the game resembles your childhood game. I worked extra hard and coded the game in my custom engine to achieve pixel perfect motion and collision as well as low overhead. Im pretty happy that you appreciate it.

Fun game with a lot of replayability. I could see myself playing this game instead of actually being productive and making my games better. To prove my point here is my game, it is very bad https://retrorealms.itch.io/nokia-pirate

Thanks for your comment. I think game development is a process that can get rough and eat up a lot of time. No matter how great or polished your game is there will always be room for improvements. (PS. Game dev is temporary glory of TF2 is forever)

Thank you for your feedback. The AI can get quite annoying at times :)
