What is Notion Jam?

Notion Jam is the first-ever hackathon in which creators are challenged to create a Notion website from start to finish. It was originally inspired by game jam, in which game developers gather to create games together. 

So what am I supposed to do?

• Design a website entirely in Notion (guide)
• Submission has to be made within the time frame.
• Share your Notion page with the public.
• Submit it to the Itch.io page

The Rules:

• The official start date is 18th March to 4th April.
• Services such as Super, Potion or Popsy is prohibited (this is to make the competition accessible)
• Fruition is allowed as it doesn't fundamentally change the UI of Notion.
• Use of Embed, Custom icons, Images is okay.
• You may release an existing website that you have created.
• Explicit content is prohibited to create a more welcoming environment.

FAQ

Do I have to pay to participate?

Notion Jam is free and open to everyone. The prize is sponsored by the organizer and additional perks will be provided by potential sponsors.

Is there a prize or any sort of judging?

There will be a $50 prize for the winner, along with additional perks (to be disclosed at a later date). Voting is opened to the public and the submission with the highest score will be the winner.

Can I do it with a team? or it's strictly solo.

The more the merrier.

What if I'm working on a Notion website already, can I participate?

There's no restriction on submitting your existing work.
