The Event

Welcome to the second bondage game jam hosted by DID Games! Our goal is to promote creativity and the exchange of fresh new ideas within our small community. 

The theme for this edition is: Connection!

By its nature, this means that most submissions will be NSFW. As such, if you are under the age of 18, please do not participate.

Scoring

All games will be scored based on the following 3 criteria by a panel of judges from the DID Games team: 

1. Game Design: How well is the theme AND bondage implemented in gameplay and systems? How creative and innovative are these mechanics? 
2. Player Experience: How easy is it to pick up and play the game? How understandable is the information presented? How natural and pleasant is it to engage with the game?
3. Asset Implementation: How well integrated are they into the experience? What impact do they have on the game experience? How polished are the visual, written, and audio assets of the game?

Additionally, the games will be publicly voted on by the audience. This is purely for fun (and bragging rights), and does not affect the judges' ratings. 

Rules

You may use any technology you want, but it MUST run in browser on itch.io. This is both to simplify the ratings process and as a preventive security measure. Most popular game engines support HTML exports. Games submitted as downloads will NOT be considered. 

You may work in teams of up to 3 members maximum.

You may use pre-made assets, provided you have the rights to and credit them properly. However, a majority of the game should be made and designed during the game jam itself.

There are no content restrictions for things like extreme violence and gore, but if your submission contains more extreme materials, please include a disclaimer.  

Depictions of characters that appear underaged (for example lolicon, shotacon, etc...) are banned and will disqualify the submission.

You may NOT use AI generation tools like ChatGPT, Dall-E, Stable Diffusion, etc... Submissions containing AI generated assets will be disqualified.

About Us

We're DID Games, a small indie team of passionate game devs that focus on themes related to bondage. 

Our biggest project is Didnapper 2, a fully-featured JRPG. We've also developed and published smaller projects such as Bonds and Master Thief Lyna.
