Welcome to the North Shore Game Jam 2025!
NSGJ is a part of the Global Game Jam and is sponsored by Montserrat College of Art, a private art college located in Beverly, Massachusetts (looks us up!) 

What is NSGJ?
In addition to the traditional 3-day weekend jam, we provide a one-week post-jam, for folks wanting to push their projects to the next level! We use the same theme and diversifiers as GGJ. This year's theme is BUBBLE -- you can find a full list of diversifiers here!

When is NSGJ?
The jam begins Monday, January 27th at 12:00 PM EST and ends Monday, February 3rd at 12:00 PM EST. You can submit as soon as the jam begins!

Where is NSGJ?
We hang out on this discord. If you participated in any of our past jams, it is the same server as before.

Who Can Join NSGJ?
Anyone of 18 years or older with an internet connection and an itch.io account can join. We welcome people of all skill levels!

What Can I Submit to NSGJ?
This is a game jam, so any game that fits the theme is valid for submission. This includes video games, pen-and-paper games, interactive fiction, VR games, hybrid board games and print-and-play games. Games that are submitted should be free to download and even better: playable in the browser! We ask that all submissions are SAFE FOR WORK and do not share hate speech or discrimination of any kind. Submissions that violate this will be removed from the jam.
