What did this game do well?

The UI and visuals are really well done in my opinion. The bar at the bottom is very nice and stands out from everything else as well as being very readable. The hit detection seems pretty good too although its hard to say seeing as I can’t actually see if my shots hit or not. The actual graphics also fit the aesthetic I think you’re trying to get, even if it wasn’t actually in line with minimalism, but I think that’s ok. Great minimalism concept, very engaging and there is a lot of anticipation waiting for the turret to actually turn back to an area you might have missed an enemy. Level ramping was also well done. It’s a very complete game and he’s done a great job, especially destroying scenery objects is great. It’s mechanics were engaging and had invested by limiting player’s senses which was really clever. The game was really well done. It was suspenseful and stressful but engaging. It was challenging but feasible. *Thought the game made really good use of space even with one button *I liked that there two features you had to keep track of, stress level and mag size *The shooting mechanism worked really well

What could this game have done better?

There’s not really any challenge to the game once you figure out that pressing space in a specific pattern can keep your health and ammo bars relatively full regardless of what enemies come at you. I think that part could use some balancing. Additionally, I didn’t think the rotation speed increasing was interesting enough to keep me engaged since at that point all the terrain was gone and the enemies weren’t a threat. If terrain periodically respawned or the enemy density increased, I think that would make more a better challenge. The graphics were probably more than what was asked of for the project and was not very minimalistic. While I liked the anticipation, once you miss an enemy on the first go around, you can’t do much to avoid the damage. Once the blockades get destroyed, since they don’t respawn, it becomes a lot easier because you can just spam turret. There are just too many enemies for it to make sense。 Increase the player’s close range vision ever so slightly so that you can see the enemies before they hit you. It would be cool if the strobe effect speed changed whether it was faster or slower. I wish there were more rewards other than just not dying or letting the enemies get closer. For instance if I hit a few enemies in a row, I get a bonus that allows me to turn all of the lights on. *Some feedback when you miss or hit a target would contribute to the game feel
