I really liked how the indicator instantly moved down when you pressed the button to select a color. It was a nice piece of feedback for the player that showed their inputs were being acknowledged and felt very responsive.
The mechanic feels clean. Brings a type writer kind of satisfaction. Colors are very clear to see, and the game is very intuitive.
The game is nicely simple and can get challenging. The gameplay is smooth and fits. It reminds me of claw machines and I think that’s a direction that this game can definitely go into. I like the levels get more challenging by increasing the amount of colors I needed to collect.
The core mechanism is interesting and satisfying. it is intuitive for the players to know what to do, making it easy and fun to play.
What could this game have done better?
I think the game could have included some sound effects to improve the feeling of responsiveness even further. A sound when the player selects a color or passes a level would be nice.
Maybe bring a endless mode. And some game feel when touched the correct color.
I think an improvement is adding more variation with the shapes. Maybe, we have to get a red triangle or a blue square. I think that’ll add a lot more variation and difficulty. Also, maybe punishing players for missing a valid piece could also make them more attentive to the game as well.
Only has three levels, not challening enough. The difference between different signals can be more than colors, adding more variations can make the game more fun.
