Theme: Death...Is Only The Beginning

Welcome to Ostrich Burger Productions first ever game jam! We hope you like what is in store. 

Rules: 

• You are allowed to create assets that will be used in-game prior to the Jam’s start. For example, character design sheets to in-game sprites, background sketches to finals, GUI, etc. 
• R18/sexual content is NOT allowed (light violence such as illustrated blood splatters is permitted)
• Please properly rate your game (whether PG/PG-13) and indicate any potential trigger/content warnings at the beginning of the game and/or game’s page.
• You are allowed to collect free-to-use premade assets or even purchase assets before the jam starts. This includes character sprites, backgrounds, BGM, GUI packs, etc. 
• Fanworks are allowed.

No judging, no prizes: purely for fun! 

That being said, each submission will be played and reviewed by the jam team (chiefly Neeka) who will also leave a response on the game to facilitate learning and gained experience from participation. 

Please make your game playable in either Mac or Windows, or Browser.

About the Theme:

Create a game based around the theme of death, it being the beginning to a story rather than the end. 

This could be the experiences and life of a newly-deceased ghost or zombie. 

It could involve the main character being able to see spirits, or involve mysterious supernatural beings from harmless yokai to grim reapers.
