A simple, but poignant and hopeful game about literally anything or anyone you could ever dream up. When I played, I controlled Sorrow, and our shared hero was a blue whale who wanted for more. I really enjoyed the open-ended story telling and easy to follow card mechanics. As a person who loves to delve into the various emotions of situations, this was a really neat way to approach it.
The use of lyrics for scene inspiration is fascinating and has gone on to inspire even more homebrew games I've played!
"Is this what's going to happen when I die? When I die suddenly?", those were my first thoughts after finishing the game. I wonder if there is really a world for those who've already passed on or if we just stay here on earth but in a different form. Also, in the beginning, the idea that probably he's survived and is on therapy was there but, yeah, later on, it's obvious that he died in the accident. Whew~
I like the platform puzzle too ~ the squares on the floor that would light up and scatter when stepped on. Great game overall! Thank you for making it! ~
