I tried locking the X axis ( and the Y one, since the result is horrifyingly weird otherwise), but I personally did not prefer this over the not locked axes. thanks for your ideas though.

Once you get the controls down, it's a pretty addicting concept. Would love to see the x-axis rotation locked but I like this.
