Welcome to the first One Page Derelict jam! The venerable One Page Dungeon Contest spread the idea of a self-contained dungeon adventure in only one page. Let's bring this concept to space!

Jam Rules

To submit your entry, please follow the following simple rules.

Theme

The One Page Derelict must follow this writing guidelines:

1. The general theme is science-fiction (or at most science fantasy, but space travel must be a real thing in the setting).
2. The adventure must be set in a derelict, or hulk, or abandoned ship/station/installation of sort. This derelict may be crash landed on a celestial body as a planet, moon or asteroid.
3. Include a hook to the adventure: why the characters should embark on the exploration of the derelict?
4. Your work must be system agnostic. You can't include stat blocks or anything that come from a licensed system, even in OGL (see Licence).

Eligibility

You can submit a previously created work if it respects the general theme of the jam.

Format

Your work should be at least in unlocked pdf format, but you may add other format (odt, doc, txt, markdown, etc) at you discretion.
The entry must by one-side page, either landscape or portrait, in a easily printable size (tipically A4 or Letter). If your design is not printer-friendly, consider to include also a ink-light version.

Credits

Your work must be original and must have a title and an author (or authors, as you can partecipate as a team). If you use other CC materials, be careful to include the correct attribution to the author(s).

License

All entries must be shared and licensed under the Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). When you are about to publish your work, we invite you to insert also the reference tag of the jam: #onepagederelict. It is up to you to put you entry for free, PWYW or priced.

Each submission must not include the intellectual property (IP) or violate the copyright or trademarks of others.

Submissions must not include a statement declaring their compatibility with, or design for, a specific rules system.

Be careful to use royalty free fonts or you have the permission to use.

Deadline

Your work must be submitted by January 31st, 2021.

Ranking

This is a ranked jam. From February 1st to February 28th, the public will be able to rate your work based on the four prerequisites (see Theme) and the overall quality of the adventure. This will provide a feedback to your work!

Regole del Jam

Per sottoporre il vostro lavoro, per cortesia seguite le seguenti semplici regole.

Tema

Il One Page Derelict deve seguire le seguenti linee guida di scrittura:

1. Il tema generale è di fantascienza (o al massimo science fantasy, ma il viaggio spaziale dev'essere reale nell'ambientazione).
2. L'avventura deve essere ambientata su un relitto o una nave/stazione/installazione abbandonata. Il relitto può essere naufragato su un corpo celeste come un pianeta, una luna o un asteroide.
3. Includete un aggancio per l'avventura: perché i personaggi dovrebbero imbarcarsi nell'esplorazione del relitto?
4. Il vostro lavoro non dovrebbe essere specifico per alcun sistema. Non dovete includere le statistiche o nient'altro che derivi da un sistema sotto licenza, anche se è OGL (vedete Licenza).

Idoneità

Potete sottomettere dei lavori creati in precedenza, a patto che rispettino il tema generale del jam.

Formato

Il vostro lavoro dovrebbe essere almeno in formato pdf sbloccato, ma potete aggiungere altri formati (odt, doc, txt, markdown, etc) a vostra discrezione.  La sottomissione deve essere a singola facciata, sia in verticale che in orizzontale, in formato facilmente stampabile (tipicamente A4). Se il vostro progetto non ha colori facilmente stampabili, considerate di includere anche una versione per una stampa che richieda meno inchiostro.

Attribuzione

Il vostro lavoro deve essere originale e includere un titolo e il nome dell'autore (o degli autori, dato che potete partecipare come gruppo). Se usate altri materiali sotto licenza CC, state attenti a includere l'attribuzione corretta agli autori.

Licenza

Tutti i lavori sottomessi dovranno essere distribuiti sotto licenza Creative Commons Attribuzione - Condividi allo stesso modo 4.0 Internazionale (CC BY-SA 4.0).  Quando state per pubblicare il vostro lavoro, vi invitiamo a inserire il tag di riferimento del jam #onepagederelict. Decidete voi se il vostro lavoro sia distribuito gratis, PWYW o con un prezzo.

Ogni sottomissione non deve includere proprietà intellettuale o violare il copyright o marchi registrati di altri.

Le sottomissioni non possono includere dichiarazioni di compatibilità con specifici sistemi di regole.

State attenti a usare font senza royalty o per cui avere il permesso d'uso.

Scadenza

Il tuo lavoro deve essere sottoposto entro il 31 gennaio 2021.

Graduatoria

Questo jam è a graduatoria. Dal 1 al 28 febbraio, il pubblico voterà con riferimento ai quattro prerequisiti (vedi Tema) e la qualità complessiva dell'avventura. Questo fornirà un feedback al vostro lavoro!
