'Once Upon a Crime' is an incredible title. I don't know the Brindlewood Bay system, but it looks super flexible, as your theming feels very organic. I really like that you included a section on writing a mystery, too. That kind of thing is always super appreciated as a GM, especially for a one-shot in a new system.

Thanks Euan, I love a good pun!  I felt so clever.  And as it turns out Netflix is also clever lol

I love Brindlewood Bay.  If you get a chance to check it out, I highly recommend it for the cozy vibes and the collaborative storytelling.  Because of the page restriction, I wasn't able to give a great explanation on how to run and play a session of this.  Playing Brindlewood Bay or the Between or Public Access will help fill in the gaps that I wasn't able to in this format.  I hope to make it a little better with revisions though.

I'm glad the short section on mystery writing is appreciated.  I like having concrete guidance, so I at least wanted to put something in here.  I'm busy with a few other projects, but in the next couple weeks I want to write up at least one sample mystery.  That way there's an example to follow if people want to write one and something that helps show the tone that at least I'm going for.

Again, thanks for the kind words!
