Jam Judge

Nice little game! I included it in my Open Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

While the gameplay is quite basic I still liked it. Perhaps there could've been more objectives as time went on, like having to empty the litterbox or maybe he could get another cat! Won on my first try with 250 left in my deposit (lost 50 when the game decided to change to Fall while I was trying to pick up the cat!). I also tried the game again because I wanted to see if you could just hold the cat indefinitely and sure enough, I beat Spring by only picking the cat up and waiting. That cat must have been dying to take a piss...

The delay when changing directions was a bit annoying and I noticed that when you leave the bedroom while moving left and you keep holding the button you can make the player character moonwalk x).

Yeah, I had much bigger dreams for the cat's AI. I wanted there to be needs that the cat would have to fulfill like food, water, and sleep. And I wanted the cat to bite the player in certain circumstances. But this was my first jam and my second game in godot ever (and my first time making AI!), so I got caught up in some other stuff.

A tutorial would be helpful. All I know how to do is pick up the cat. Where do I take him? Thanks :)
