  • This is wonderful. The games seem complete. Improvement suggestion is as follows: - Adding some movement animation on the character’s legs.
  • I really appreciate the fact that this game can be played from start to finish without opening a menu for instructions and controls. While the engagement of the theme here is somewhat superficial and disconnected to a "secret," the visuals reflect success in exploring the dunes visually. Background and foreground elements are easy to separate from one another, and for the most part all of the audio and visual cognitive cues are effective. The rising and falling tide is a very engaging element of the level. Of course, more animation on the avatar would be great. A simple yes/no state machine swapping from Idle/Run would do wonders. Especially considering the length of the game jam, this is a very complete game that anyone can try out! Congratulations, The Last Ranger gets top rank from me!
  • Engagement with theme could be stronger. Nice landscape and tide/swell cycling. Simple but functional tool/task challenges. Great sound!
  • Ah, the water got me a few times. I wish there were a little more to figure out in the game, and that the structure of the game allowed for a little more discovery. But, it all works and looks pretty good too!
