"Running out of time"

WINNERS & PRIZES

Winners will be determined by a combination of vote count, ratings, and judge's assessment, based on the criteria listed below.

Prizes will be delivered electronically via itch.io's payout system, directly after judging has completed.

All entrants will be eligible for publishing deals from About Time Games.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Participation is FREE. There is absolutely no charge for submitting your game.
2. The game must be playable on web within the browser. You can create other versions to support other platforms (PC, mobile, etc), but  judging and voting will only be based on features in the web version.
3. All entrants must provide an email account. This email will only be used for communication about prizes, important logistics related to the game jam, and any pursuant deals from About Time Games.

VOTING CRITERIA

Voting will be based on the following criteria (and only for the web version of the game submitted):

1. Creativity – How well and creatively are time-based mechanics used?
2. Game Feel – How satisfying are the time-based mechanics to use?
3. Polish – How polished does the game appear?
4. Learnability – How easily can the time-based mechanics be learned?
5. Audio – How well do the audio elements complement the time-based elements?

RULES

1. Teams are allowed, all team members must be listed with your submission.
2. Submitting multiple games is allowed (although only one prize will be awarded per team).
3. You have one week to make your game.
4. You may use any assets you have legal access to. List any pre-made assets on your game page.
5. Games that are NSFW must have a warning in the description and at the start of the game, with a confirmation action.
6. No content will be considered that is bigoted,  discriminatory, plagiarized, or spam.
7. Games you submit during the "Out of Time" game jam are your property. About Time Games claims no rights or ownership of your game. If About Time Games wishes to publish your game, we will contact you directly with a deal.

If you work with others on your game, add them to your game's itch.io page:

1. Edit your game's itch.io page
2. Click "More"
3. Click "Admins"
4. Enter the itch.io usernames of your team members
5. Toggle on "Display as contributor?" for each of your team members
6. Send each of your team members the link for them to accept your invite to be Admins
7. Double-check with them that it worked; confirm that the game shows up on their itch.io profiles
