The OUYA released on June 25th 2013, aiming to start a revolution by enabling any developer to make games for the television.

The OUYA lives on as a community-driven console, thanks to the work done by the OUYA Saviors. Game Jam entries are uploaded to the community server so players can download and play via the console's Discover Store.

Previous Jam entries are welcome back. There is also a New-to-OUYA Bonus for new entries!

The only real rule is games cannot be hate-based or discriminatory.

Scoring

2/1/2025-2/8/2025

Play-testers will score submissions on the following categories for a possible total of 100 points, with a 110 point maximum if the submission gets the New-To-OUYA Bonus (10pts).

1-20pts - Polish

1-20pts - Thumbnail/Discover Presence

1-10pts - Game Design

1-10pts - Technical Achievement

1-10pts - Art Style

1-10pts - Audio

1-10pts - Storytelling

1-10pts - Theme

Bonus: 10pts - New-To-OUYA Bonus (True/False)

All scores for a submission will be averaged by category first. The sum of all averaged category scores plus the New-to-OUYA Bonus will be each game's final score. The game with the highest final score will be the winner of the jam.

Who can judge?

Jam developers and OUYA Saviors server members (with post history before Dec 1, 2024) are encouraged to judge using the Score Sheet.
