Wow... this was quite a tough and tragic experience to get through, but I am glad I did.
This game is not for the faint of heart, so adhere to any Warning labels before playing cause this gets heavy.

***POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD***

I'll start with the controls. At times I was confused by what to do, and I had a hard time picking up on the direction of how to navigate the game. Eventually I got the hang of it and hammered down the routine. I did run into a bug every night that made it difficult to trigger the end of the day. I would have to go back into other rooms and click around for a bit before it let me end the day and go to sleep. Once you get the hang of the flow though, it gets a lot less confusing and you can start to focus on the story.

The absolute horrors this game portrays was heightened a lot by the quality of the story writing. The art style was pretty cool, and I found myself more immersed because of the back stories of the characters that were created (the sisters, mom, and dad). The game really takes a twisted turn when the events start taking place... clever use of music progressions and environmental manipulations change the world around you and really impact the increasing panic of the situation. It was really cool how the dreams got more nightmarish as the game progressed.

The ending was awesome too, and well worth the build up. It was nice to get revenge, and it was a cool turn in the story to find out the entire time you have just been telling the story of why you killed your father to a detective. Really heart wrenching stuff... but I think y'all covered the topic respectfully.

Job well done!!!!!
