No matter if 2D, 2.5D or 3D. The main idea is to show off your individual style!

Who can enter?
Everyone is welcome! No matter your game dev experience, age, gender, ethnicity, whatever... join us! :)
Which game engine can I use?
You can use any game engine you want or none at all. It's entirely up to you.
Can I create assets ahead of time? / Can I reuse assets from previous projects?
Yes and yes. As long as it was created by you (or one of your team mates) feel free to use it!
Can I use photographs as my assets?
Yes! If it's pictures that you took yourself this is a 100% viable option of creating assets!
Does the self-made assets only rule apply to UI Elements (buttons, healthbars, etc.)?
Technically, yes. But no one stops you from using simple shapes and vector art. It does not need to be fancy if you don't want it to.
Does the self-made assets only rule apply to Sound and SFX?
No. The rules only apply to visual assets. Sounds and SFX are excluded from the rules.
However, if you have a sound designer on your team they can definitely bring self-made pieces into the game! :) even better!
Does the self-made assets only rule apply to Fonts?
No. Let's not go this far. Use whatever font you'd like.
How does voting work?
The submission period is followed by a 1-week voting period. Only participants of the jam can vote.
(We decided for this solution to avoid it being a simple popularity contest.)
Is anything forbidden?
Hateful comments, language or visuals will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate exclusion from the event.
We want everyone to feel safe during this event.
