Summarise your game!
Enerstoration is a fast-paced 2D platformer where you control a living energy wave in a failing space station. You must manage your energy wisely, manipulate enemies, and overcome obstacles to restore power and uncover the truth behind your creation.
Every action consumes energy, so it's important to plan your moves. You can activate floating energy mode by pressing the spacebar to reach higher areas or pass through obstacles. You can also interact with the environment, such as platforms and circuits, using your energy wave. To recharge, touch surfaces or enter energy tunnels.
Your mission is to restore the power to the space station while unraveling secrets about your purpose. The controls are simple: use A/D to move, W to ascend (consuming energy), S to descend quickly, and space to activate floating energy mode.
The game offers challenging gameplay, with every action consuming energy, and a minimalist pixel art style inspired by Downwell. The levels are fast-paced and require quick reflexes to complete intense platforming sections.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
In Enerstoration, you are a living wave of energy, created as a weapon to restore power to a failing space station. Your energy is the tool to manipulate the environment and defeat enemies. Every action consumes energy, so you must carefully manage it to progress and uncover the truth behind your creation. You, as the weapon, are the key to solving the station’s crisis.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Please pay attention to the variety of mechanics and robots in Enerstoration. The different enemies and interactions keep the gameplay fresh and engaging, preventing monotony and ensuring the player is always adapting to new challenges.
