Summarise your game!
Deliver breakfast as a Bouncy Egg in this challenging physics platformer where your bouncy yolk-fueled shell is the only weapon you need!
Collect the required breakfast items by defeating the corresponding creatures (Dinosaurs for sausages, Potato Moths for potatoes, Mushrooms for, well, mushrooms). Deliver the breakfast to the table at the end of the level to feed the women and children of Eggrimeer!
Each level is timed (reset when restarting) and at the end of the game, your total level completion time is shown. Share your times in the comments below!
Controls:
- Left Mouse Button: Charge jump, release to launch towards the mouse.
- Space (hold): Yolk-time (slow motion). Allows for faster jump charge and finer control at high speed.
- R: Restart level
- Escape: Pause
Tips:
- Yolk-time (hold space) is particularly useful. Switch in and out regularly to gain greater control over movement, line up shots on enemies and set up chain bounces. It recharges over time and by picking up double-yolk eggs.
- When moving fast enough to defeat enemies, your egg's trail will glow red and your egg will have a happy face.
- Try to hit enemies from above to bounce off them in an advantageous way.
- For speed-runners, use yolk-time as little as possible as it slows you but not the level timer!
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Thematically, you must collect breakfast ingredients and serve them, along with your delicious eggy self, for breakfast. You are the weapon against hunger.
Mechanically, you defeat enemies by hitting them with your body while moving at a high enough speed. This is the only way to defeat them, making you the physical weapon as well.
