Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
Nuclear John is a strategic card game with rhythm elements, involving quick and creative use of many types of attack and defence units for victory.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
During our team’s brainstorm we came across a variety of weapon features that can be used in gameplay. Weapons like spears, swords, shields etc. initially came to mind. Then we thought why not use features of a weapon of mass destruction - a nuclear bomb?
Main character of our game, Nuclear John, is capable of destroying the entire world with one wish. We wanted to explore if a nuclear bomb were to go through everyday human experience, would it want to blow up the whole world?
If the player isn't good enough and loses every conflict in John's life, the end of the story will get worse each time. Therefore, the player, like Nuclear John, needs to understand the responsibility that being a weapon places on him.

Your entry has been disqualified for having an inaccessible game design document

Developer

It is accessible, read-only for everyone with the link. Are you sure it's not a mistake?

Developer (1 edit)

I think we understood the problem. Itch.io on the gamejam game page adds three dots at the end of the link automatically due to size. If you copy the entire link and delete the dots, you can see GDD is accesible! It's a bug of itch.io, not our mistake. Reconsider your decision, please.
Even here you can see it. Delete three dots and the link will work:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1a1msFI2ZtbUAQ2xwAmggCZYo-lN7AR04Z-Kx1B63-Fw/...

Ah, I see. Apologies for the confusion - I'll requalify your submission

There is a ton of potential here in a game that's already pretty solid! If you do anything with this then polish the visuals, or if you do other jams then polish visuals sooner than later. Well done!
