Very interesting and good gameplay mechanic. I would have what u typed in the description in your game before the player starts because I couldn't make out what to do until I saw that which luckily was right under the window so didn't need to scroll down.

- The game is fun with the interesting take on the theme. Great introduction on game mechanics! The beginning is a bit rough there could be some potions you begin with until the player get use to game. As you have a numbers of steps and gold displayed at the end the game could benefit from a score board! Fun way to be more interactive!
- I found the gameplay pretty fun; however the micro-transition seemed unnecessary. The sound effects were good. Very nice to have a how to play ingame. You touched on the themes, but I would like to be more active and engage with them. There was only one potion mix, it would have been nice to have different ones to view different patterns on the map. It's a nice and sweet game that I could probably play for way longer than I should. Hope to see you at the next jam.
