Very fun and interesting gameplay. I actually did the suggested blindfold and got a score of 400 something I think on the first potion making. Thank you for making this interesting game!

- Love the concept! It has accessibility, it encompasses the theme well and I love rhythm games! I am not that good at having lack of visual guidance during rhythm games, but the concept is quite lovely! It's difficult to come up with anything to add. Perhaps a little guidance for what notes we are supposed to play? Or an option to turn on hints for those that can see.

The New Life of Eilidh Mhorganach is a rhythm game about a blind alchemist who has to use sound to brew her potions. What sets it apart from other rhythm games is the inability to see a visual representation of the notes you're supposed to play, instead relying entirely on sound and memory. The game is completely accessible for people with any visual impairments, including complete blindness. Sighted people will experience the game best wearing a blindfold. The main character, Eilidh Mhorganach, has recently lost her sight and needs to learn a new way to brew potions, with the help of her wife Leagsaidh, and her lab assistant Calum. The game is controlled using the keyboard only, space is used to progress the dialogue (it may also be needed to start the game's audio in some browsers). All other controls are described at the start of the game. Listening with headphones is strongly recommended.
Extra Notes
The Game Design Document is included both as an additional external file, and a link to it is also at the top of the game's description on itch.io. Both link to the same file, but the external file says "download" (even though it redirects to google docs and to my knowledge doesn't download anything) so I included a link in the description as well, just to be safe. --Mymo
