  • My experience playing had me intrigued at the concept of the customers being 'shadows of former humans', which can be interpreted as the shadow aspect of the themes (elemental effects) or alchemy (a type of transformation). The part where you have to put potions together for customers was straightforward enough; so that also falls under the interpretation of alchemy, but, in terms of playability, I found it to be less fulfilling when attempting to craft potions while using the board provided. For some reason, as I selected which flower/plant I wanted to use, making sure I read the name correctly, I still found the end result to be different than what I was looking for. Not sure if this was just on my end or something else. The style of the game (art and music) were done well, though the music may not have been to my liking that much (felt like I was listening to Hatsune Miku the entire time). All the same, this was a fine experience for what you provided, so keep up the hard work.
  • I can only rate the game based on the theme, style, and cleverness based on the GDD, the game failed to play properly in safari and chrome.
  • Great game vision and implementation! Feels like a really great demo of a game I'd purchase. The theme was well thought out and integrated into the game. Crafting potions is a fun mechanic and the shadow customers is a really nice touch. Unique idea! The character model is a delight. I'd love to put a witch hat on her. The way the text warps for the shadows made it difficult for me to read. The potions listed on the chalk board was a subtle and really helpful touch. The art on the potions completed was really beautiful. Great game and I wanted to play more. GG!

Mystic Brews: The Witch's Boutique is an alchemy puzzle game where the player manages a shop and crafts items to sell to various clients, even bizarre ones.

The player can gather ingredients in the garden by interacting with them. They will grow back after some interactions with the clients (both sending them back with "No" or giving them the right potion).

To put on hold a client and craft a potion, the player must select "Wait" during the dialogue.

Extra Notes
When crafting a potion there is no feedback on the result.
The garden is accessible by interacting with the door behind the counter.
The interaction area is not perfect: if an object is near the player it might interfere, try to interact with elements while keeping a bit of distance from your sides!
The game resolution might be kinda scuffed, we tested it and found out that playing in full screen and zooming out helps.

This is very cute! You've built a lovely little setting here.
+ Adorable characters. I'm particularly fond of the sad ghost bois
+ Gameplay loop is easy to get into, and the only stress comes from how fast the ghost bois return with new problems to solve
+ Tending a garden inside a giant bong sounds like a great time
- Gameplay's not too deep, but what's here is executed well
- I wish ESC brought me out of the crafting menu, so that it was consistent with the others
