- This game has the best mechanical implementation of the shadows theme I've seen so far. I'd love to see some in game tutorials for some of the mechanics which I only discovered by accident and some more levels showing places where certain mechanics such as possesion have to be used. It'd also be awesome to see some use of the process of alchemy, rather than just having the enemies named as alchemists. Was really impressed nonetheless. The art was very fitting. Nicely done!
- I love this game. I thought this game was absolutely sick. The only markdown you got was that I didn't know to collect the flame. I only did so through facerolling my keyboard until something happened. That being said, once it happened, I was able to figure out the rest of the mechanics and had a blast with them. This game is awesome. Thank you for the fun!

Summary
A 2D side scroller where you take control of a shadow creature trying to escape from a cult of alchemists.
Gameplay
Umbra must go through 10 rooms in order to escape from the cult. To do that, it will need to turn all of the lights off. It will face many obstacles along the way, sometimes needing to possess and defeat enemies.
Mechanics
Shadow Movement
Under light, Umbra runs and jumps around the dungeon. However, when an area is completely dark, it can move freely in any direction.
Possession
When it’s close enough, Umbra can possess the alchemists, becoming able to control their movements and attack.
History
After studying for centuries, a certain group of alchemists was able to summon the Elder Elements: Ignis, Aqua, Terra, Lux and Umbra. They brought them into this world in order to further enhance their powers and knowledge.
However, one of them made a mistake, and the Shadow Element managed to free itself.
Now, Umbra must escape from them, so as not to be used for their experiments.
Arte
The game will have a pixel-art style, with 32x32 tiles.
It will also count with a dark aesthetic.
Música
Music will be melancholic, with long notes and minor chords.
Extra Notes
3 out of our 5 person team had never made a game. This jam served as a great way to introduce them to game development.
