  • Movement of main character was a bit too fast, but smooth. Randomly generated maps were a good mechanic. Good overall game design and theme implementation. I can see where the game is headed and it was engaging enough to keep my attention, despite not being able to eat the food myself or feed it to villagers hehe. Great job on this game!

You are the guardian of the Gastronomicon, an obscure book of foods and beverages. It is your job to use it wisely to guide the town according to the wishes of the Order of the Ladle, a secret society of Alcheffmists.
Hunt monsters, extract their essences, and use them to prepare foods that change the towns mood, personalities, and desires.

From the kitchen you can go to the dungeon by clicking the portal on the top right.
Clicking on the Gastronomicon will open and close the recipes.
The pile of plates will open the food type selection.
The bag of ingredients allows you to add ingredients to the food one you've gathered them.

Inside the dungeon move with WASD, aim and attack with the mouse. Attack is melee only (sorry, I didn't get to add the ladle as a weapon). You have 10 hitpoints, and will have to track that down with the character flashing, since I couldn't add the HUD.
Once you get enough ingredients, go to the portal to teleport back to the kitchen. Dungeons are procedurally generated so the location of monsters and portal is a mystery and you will need to find it, but there is always a way to it.

Extra Notes
I didn't get in time to add the town management and once you cook the food it just stays there since there's no more gameplay :(
