I found the way you presented the themes in this game to be quite interesting at first. For shadow, I liked how the player's companion could be turned into a weapon to be used because its nature is, what I assume to be, a creature of shadows of some sort? As for alchemy, I didn't find the crafting part to be all too compelling, as this sort of thing is used a lot of the time. I do wish there was another way it could've been implemented into the game (unless I missed how you did do such). As for the playability, I found no issues with the controls, but when it came to attacks, it felt a bit 'clunky' or 'slow' after changing forms and attacking enemies. Along with that, once I remembered how to get to the inventory, the only keys that worked were the ones that switched the 'pages'. I was not able to adjust my audio settings, nor craft anything for some reason. Again, I may have missed something here. While this may be the case, I did find your artistic approach to the game to be quite nicely done, as well as the music, even though it wasn't until after I found the menu that I learned the volume settings could be altered. All the same, good job here, so keep up the hard work.

The story is about an alchemist who accidently opened a portal to another world. The shadow creatures are said to be evil but you befriend one and learn who the true evil is.
It is a (currently endless but intended to be nonstop until you beat the boss) Dungeon Crawler, where you level up your damage (only potion and sword weapons due to time) by feeding your companion, and craft potions to heal or attack with ingredients found inside the dungeon.

Extra Notes
Learned a lot of new things, had a lot of fun, probably shouldn't have pull an all-nighter back to back but I really enjoyed using systems I didn't know I could make.
