  • Playability was overall fine, there were some minor bugs such as I could open doors in blob form after the scientist died and some doors would require very specific positioning to open, but overall, the experience was quite good. I enjoyed the main screen and first few scenes as it reminded me of games from the 80s. The choice background music was well, as it fit the alien atmosphere very well. I really liked the choice of the mind control mechanic as the main expression for the Jam's theme, really gave the game a unique twist. One thing I'd like to see improved is the GDD, it is missing development history as well as future planning. Overall, I'd say this game was quite fun, I loved the throwback to the 80s/90s and despite the bugs, I think many people would enjoy this game.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes it absolutely is.

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes baby it really really is.

Summarise your game!
You are an alien symbiote who jumps into and controls characters. As the ultimate weapon you must kill everything and escape.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are a living organism who kills by jumping into hosts. As a weapon, your goal is to eliminate everyone. Hosts you jump into and control end up turning into you and a weapon.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The elevator
