  • Amazing art style, cutscenes and voice over work! I laughed HARD watching them! Well done! Gameplay mechanics were well executed and intuitive with the control scheme after learning. Very unique gameplay style I'd love to see expanded on. Even if the colors were random, they fit alright. Unfortunately due to time constraints and more later, I was only able to get to the 4th map. The restart system feels overly punishing taking you all the way back to the beginning of the game, regardless of what map was failed. Eating up the players time and frustration by replaying already solved content. Occasionally there were soft locks after jumping the first time on a map. Could not execute a second jump, jump meter never started filling up again. Had to refresh the page and try again, after the unskippable cutscene. There's a good game here to mature and flesh out. Good luck on continuing development on it.

Finances
I did spend money getting some sound assets for the project. I know we're not supposed to spend much, but I'm uncertain of the limit. So, I'll leave my expenditures here.
- $5: Sound-Works-12 Glass Breaking SFX (this has a $5 minimum) <https://sound-works-12.itch.io/glass-breaking-sfx>
- $10: Shapeforms Audio Free SFX (this has no minimum - $10 was my choice) <https://shapeforms.itch.io/shapeforms-audio-free-sfx>

Accessibility Limitations
Right now, there are no text subtitles for the cutscenes; I hope to add them in the near future.

Known Issues
There's a few bugs here and there, I know; right now, I'm taking a break - hopefully I can fix them in the future.
- Some audio plays twice (web export issue - it works on my machine)
- Sometimes the landing doesn't stick
- Sometimes you can "land" on a shattered platform

Future Plans
I'd like to clean this up and publish it on steam - hoping to add a few extra features to make the game more... fun.

Open Source
Check out the source code <https://github.com/Wake1st/break-glass-godot> in both horror and amazement!

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
To get to the finish line, use your body to land on or smash through platforms.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
I'm proud of the cutscenes - though I feel like I went the AAA route of making a pretty game which has some ass bugs.

There's a bug feature which does interrupt add to a cutscene; I don't think I'll upload the fix destroy a beautiful product of chaos, but I have pushed an updated version to GitHub taken away one of life's joys. (Broken Beautiful version = 1.1.1)
