- Love the idea! The idea of the slime growing larger and larger is similar to games like "Feeding Frenzy" where, the bigger you get, the more scary you are for the rest of the creatures. The sound effects are whimsical and I really enjoy the style of the game itself, as well as the addition of the little slime trail behind your character. A few things to note: The map doesn't have a hitbox, so, the walls don't mean anything and you can just walk through them. The weapons don't have any impact and the hitboxes for enemies seem to be very wonky. Just to clarify, the hammer certainly feels like it would hit hard, but it takes off a miniscule amount of health from the enemies. For games like this, the classic approach is most often the best approach. What I mean is, having monsters start off weak and very small in number and then increase in number will give the illusion of progression and a feeling of tension rising. The enemy projectiles are too small and fast to avoid, It's way too high of a punishment to have them go that fast and hit that hard, especially early on, when the player is just getting used to the controls. All in all, well done! Keep it up!
