  • I enjoyed the game. The art style is really nice and fits with the theme. I like the bullet hell style and it was fun. It was sometimes hard to kill something with all the bullets flying around which is perfect for the genre. You feel like the weapon while you are flying around trying to destroy everything else.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
WSAD to move, mouse to aim, space or LBM to shoot

It's a bullet hell, the gameplay is pretty self-explanatory

At the state I put project now, we don't have a savefile yet, so you can choose the level with "Assignment selection" button. "Intel database" reveals lore entries. In the future, when the levels will be polished, they will be hidden behind score requirement

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The lore maybe works a little bit better without knowing the theme, but the idea for an unsuspecting player is as follows: we are searching for a weapon of mass destruction, playing as an artificial intelligence designed to pilot a spaceship. As an AI, its knowledge is restricted and censored by its creators. The player is supposed to recognize the plot twist before the player's character, but they both will come to the same conclusion - you are the weapon.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Well, we cannot say the game is finished, but since the scoring system needs major adjustments, all lore entries are unlocked. Entries 5, 7 and 8 are not available, but other ones are included.

its fun trying to navigate through the tons of bullets though level 9 seems very very difficult to survive through since there are soooo many bullets!
