  • GDD is organized and clearly describes the game and how it fits the theme. Inspiration is outlined along with images, which were very helpful as I wasn't familiar with the game referenced. The game itself is easy to play. In-game instructions are given at the start to explain the control scheme and the abilities that are at the player's disposal. I like the stealth approach instead of open combat. The range at which the player can initiate a back-stab is very short and it is incredibly easy to get too close on accident. On discovery, the game references 'breaking the masquerade'. While I am familiar with this phrase from my own background knowledge, an explanation of the setting may be necessary for a wider audience. I am curious to see what additional powers and abilities get added and how those will influence movement and strategy.
