In this game jam, you're challenged to create a small, horror-themed game that takes place in a confined or restricted space, such as a small room or an area with limited movement, while also incorporating the assets provided in the bundle.

The Ham-Jam is about having fun. Creating something that is short, small scope and silly.

• Any genre that is somewhat spooky is welcome. Horror type stuff, spooky comedy infused thriller, anything chilling is accepted.

• You have to use the Ham-Jam bundle (<-- download link) content as much as possible. Adding other, your own objects is allowed as well. 

• The game should have a Windows build  or could be played in a browser (would be even better).

• The level itself should be as small as possible. Gameplay must take place in some kind of area that very much limits the movement for the player. For example: a room, cage, basement or being stranded on a boat, where the playable area is only the boat itself.  Submarine, old spaceship, prison or anywhere that you can imagine that could take place with pretty much limited size of exploration for the player.

• Your game must be new. Previously released games won't be accepted.

• You can start developing the game before the jam begins. Reviving old ideas or bringing up abandoned demos or drafts is also allowed.

• Only solo developers are accepted.

• NSFW entries are not allowed. Blood, gore and so on is okay, just no sexualized stuff.

• Unfinished/multi part releases are allowed, and so are spin-offs.
