Let's be honest. Making a "good game" is overrated.

There are thousands of game developers out there who spend their whole lives so blinded by ego, they can't begin to hear the still, small voice inside them telling them to make a terrible game. This game jam is dedicated to those lost souls who cannot understand what game development is truly about.

Your goal is simple: to make the worst game possible. Every aspect of your game, the music, art, sounds, etc. should emit nothing but fear, anger, and disgust.

RULES:

• You may not use any pre-made assets. All art, music, sounds, and programming MUST be created by your team after the jam begins. If you're not experienced in one or more of these things, TOO BAD!
• Your game must fit the theme, which will be announced at the start of the jam.
• We have ZERO TOLERANCE for use of any generative AI to make your game. If you so much as breathe the word "AI" in the same sentence as this game jam, you will be disqualified.
• If there is any NSFW content in your game, make Dad proud and include a clear warning in the title of your game

Games will be judged on shoddiness of gameplay, shoddiness of art,  and shoddiness of sounds and music. The worse the gameplay, art, and music is, the higher you should rate the criteria (confusing, I know.)
