Here we are coming to the end of 2024. Should we summarize its results, would you say? No, we should mock its results! Remember those weird mobile games with their hilariously cringe-worthy ads? You know, the ones that made you think, "Who even plays this stuff?" Well, plot twist — they’re now dominating the download charts! Turns out, if players are all about these trending games, who are we to argue…
In this jam, you need to take one of the most idiotic mobile game ideas from the trends of the past year and create a dynamic Beat'em Up or Shoot'em Up HTML5 game based on them.
Take one of the suggested topics to its maximum absurdity. Are you making a strong character? —Make him absurdly strong. Are you making bright colors? Make them absurdly acidic. Then take all that nonsense and package it into a cool, dynamic game.
Do they like pimple squeezing games? Okay, we'll make a beat'em up where the player runs around the map, squeezes giant pimples on the ground and geysers of pus knock enemies off their feet! Just have fun, and we'll publish the best games to play and earn money for you!

Prizes
1. All contest entries are automatically eligible for a publishing deal with Playgama.
2. Winning does not guarantee a publishing deal but gives priority consideration.
3. The top 3 games will be published with a 0% commission on placements across partner platforms for 12 months, along with an $80 bonus.
4. Participants ranked 4-10 will receive a game publication on Playgama and our partner portals and $50 bonus.
5. Even if you don’t win a prize, you could still receive a publishing offer from us.
Rules
1. Engines: Unity, Godot, Construct 3, JavaScript.
2. Games must be family-friendly. NSFW content, excessive violence, or hate content is strictly prohibited.
3. Create everything from scratch during the event, especially the game logic. Pre-made or purchased assets are allowed for art and sound.
4. Your game must not violate anyone's copyright. If you use assets, you must own the right to use them.
5. All games must be web-based (HTML5), optimized for smooth performance, and dynamically adjust their layout when scaling the browser window.
6. The game build size must not exceed 100 MB.
7. Working in teams or on multiple projects is allowed.
Development suggestions:
1. Ensure the player immediately understands the game's objective. If the gameplay isn't intuitive, consider adding tutorials or navigation elements to guide them.
2. Focus on gameplay and mechanics to bring the jam's concept and theme to life.
3. Make the game as engaging as possible. Add plenty of feedback for players and keep the gameplay dynamic and exciting.
Rating
The winners will be chosen by Playgama's special jury after the jam concludes. Games will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. How smooth and enjoyable is the gameplay? Are the controls responsive? How fun and engaging is the overall experience?
2. How well does the game stick to the jam’s theme, rules, and concept?
3. How effectively does the game use its visual style and sound? How appealing is the overall presentation?
4. Is the game consistent and free of bugs? Does it include essential features like player progression, a main menu, and a pause option?
