Welcome to the 1st Plutosphere game jam!

A game jam is an event where you make a game in a limited amount of time, you get to challenge yourself, learn new skills, have fun, and play a bunch of other people's games!

In this jam you will have one week to make a game. Once the submission period it over, the rating period begins. Rating will be open to everyone, meaning that you do not have to make a game to vote. The voting period will also last one week.

The developers of the top 3 rated games will win the following:

     1st place: 12,000 Plutosphere tokens (equivalent to 20 hours for Plutosphere)

     2nd place: 6,000 Plutosphere tokens (equivalent to 10 hours for Plutosphere)

     3rd place: 3,000 Plutosphere tokens (equivalent to 5 hours for Plutosphere)

RULES

The only major rule is absolutely no NSFW and offensive content in the games. If this rule is broken you will be disqualified from the jam and banned from the Discord.

You may use any game engine you would like. You could even make your own! (Would not recommend..) You can also use any assets you have as long as you have proper licensing for them. You do not have to make everything from scratch, though that could be a fun learning experience in the end.

Games don't have to be VR. Flat-screen games are just as good!

Games must be uploaded to itch.io in order to participate. Changes to games will not be able to be made after the submission deadline.

RATING

Games will be rated on 3 categories: Game Design, Fun, and Creativity. These scores will be added up to give an overall score. The winners will also get a special role in the Discord.
