This is a small, yet fun game. I played it during the jam and the post jam update has added some much needed polish. Although sometimes the RNG elements are more of an unfair hindrance the annoyance is short lived. The power ups are well implemented and the gameplay variety is pretty neat. If I had to request two things of the game would be:
1) Enemies should display their hp over or under their sprite, this would help with strategizing on the fly and less clutter in the players mind space.
2) Display how far an enemy can move. When a new enemy was introduced I always asked myself "Ok.. so.. Can they reach me? Or am I safe"
Other than that, it's a game I'd happily revisit whenever it sees another update.
