This game is what it says, a SIMPLE TEXT GAME. The story telling aspect of the game is good, and I can see it relating to the old games. Nice job!

A text-based adventure game with a lot of ways to lose. I would be interested to see this expanded into branching paths and multiple good endings. That's part of the appeal of choose-your-own-adventure games to me. I was expecting to explore a labyrinthine cave system and maybe discover something magical. But as a "simple text game," I think it's okay.
