Excellent proof of concept! I'll wait for the next updates with honest eagerness.
Maybe I'm bad at roguelite or simply not patient enough to accumulate the items to get to the intended gameplay, but the timer feels a little fast for an RNG dungeon with that many rooms. I only ever found one red crystal and exit before getting booted amongst a significant number of attempts. In fact I only found the exit twice. And I never stopped moving. Superb game design, storyboarding and art for a jam game!! I'm just keeping one star so I can give it to my bruised ego after the punishing number of attempts to complete the loop ;)
The character animations were actually really good, but the game is incredibly short. That being said, it's not the shortest one in the jam! The difficulty swing between the puzzles is extreme. The first one is good and fun, despite the first hint being way too on the nose. The other two puzzles are very polar, one being a brute force slog and the other being uninterestingly easy. Then the game suddenly ends. This is a great start though!
