Calling all indie and open-source developers!
There is a severe lack of free or inexpensive and easily accessible educational games for our youngest children! It's time we solved that and gave teachers a hand. The purpose of this jam is to inspire small indie and open-source developers to see education as the severely underdeveloped market that it is. I am looking for submissions such as: letter and number tracing practice, number/letter sound identification (be sure to check the most recent studies on phonics - you're probably saying the letters wrong!), shape identification, fine/small motor development, simple math skills (count and match the number), and so much more. Bonus points if you use a font designed for early education and double bonus points if it's designed by an educator! Submissions which include downloadable iOS and Android executables are preferred!
