What a great idea to have a dog accompany the player. Somehow it seemed as if the fellow always knew where I was headed. I also liked that there was a fireplace as it gave the experience as sense of direction.
Spent time herding the dog to go a certain direction, then, later, realized he would follow (maybe the dog was walking me, haha), but still made it to the camp. Gratz on getting the initial prototype made; always an important step to provide a canvas for your other ideas. I'll be interested to see what different ideas for procedural generation you come up with for it!

I like the dog! Its a neat game. I included it in a compilation video series of all of the ProcJam creations, if you'd like to take a look! :)
It's qute. The edge of the map is also interesting.also...winter walk? where's the snow then. Anyway cool stuff.
