Kicking off the new year is a game jam for the game Project Spark! You have from January 1st to February 2nd 2025 to make and submit a game made in Project Spark based around the theme. This is the first of what is planned to be a continual series of Project Spark Game Jams hosted by the Project Spark Community Discord Server. This is meant to be a very accessible game jam, feel free to join regardless of your skill level! You can use the #projectsparkjam hashtag on Twitter to share your progress and ask for feedback. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask in the community discord server.
Theme
You can choose from one of two themes for this jam: Winter or Resurrection! This could be anything from a game about skiing down mountains or Santa delivering presents to raising zombies or slaying them. The possibilities are endless, just be creative!
Submissions
All submissions must be a Project Spark Save File, and you have from January 1st to February 2nd 2025 to submit it here.
Voting
All submissions will be voted on by a panel of judges on the following three criteria: Gameplay, Visuals, and Creativity.
Rules
- Submissions must be new content made for the jam, no games you've already made in the past.
- Submissions must adhere to either one of the two themes.
- The submission must be a playable Project Spark Save File that can be played in a normal copy of Project Spark.
- The submission must be submitted prior to the deadline of February 2nd, 2025.
