I love the art style for this and the concept! I wasn't too sure what to do at first with the little people around me, but eventually I clicked on one and discovered it. Great proof of concept!
I'm so happy you played our game, and thank you for the comment!
I know some of the games you've been working on from before and I both love and agree with your ideas on how alternative controllers and the mechanics available to players can surprise people and invite them to reflection and vulnerability (and that's the way I want to make games too.)
I would super much love to have a chat with you at some point to hear more about your experience with this demo and if you found different ways to engage with the labels. And if you have any tips to improve it I'd appreciate that a lot! <3
Ahh, that's so cool to hear! I think games can be really, really good at provoking those kinds of feelings and responses! That's awesome that it's part of how you design games, too.
We can definitely have a chat about this over Discord or something else, if you like! I noticed a few things about the labels and the layers of meaning (the available blank shape on the creatures versus traits that have traditional been very gendered, the way that being labeled makes you disappear...).
I clickied around your game page and ended up on your art pages and gosh, your art rocks!! The red creature with the fence spoke to my soul! <3
So, I'm super happy that you played our game, and can I ask, did you find the way to break the expectations of what to do? :) And if you have some time to spare I'd love to hear about how you interacted with it and your thoughts!
And if you don't want to, for any reason, that is totally fine, and thank you for playing and commenting! <3

Neat concept! I also really like the background music and overall look.
